Akhiri Hiatus 4 Tahun, Disturbed Menghentak dengan Single Baru

Liputan6.com, Los Angeles Penggemar musik metal boleh berbahagia. Pasalnya, Disturbed kembali lagi dengan single terbaru mereka Vengeful One setelah hiatus selama empat tahun.

`Vengeful One` merupakan single pembuka dari album terbaru Disturbed, Immortalized yang akan rilis 21 Agustus 2015 nanti dibawah label Reprise Records. Mereka terakhir kali merilis album 2010 lalu dengan album bertajuk Asylum.

Hilang selama empat tahun ternyata bukan tanpa alasan yang kuat. Hal itu disengaja agar karya-karya yang dihasilkan band metal asal Chicago tersebut selalu segar.

"Idenya adalah untuk pergi saat berada di puncak, dan kembali saat merasa segar kembali," ujar sang vokalis, David Draiman kepada Kerrang! baru-baru ini.

"Untuk album ini, semuanya ditulis di ruangan yang sama. Menyenangkan dapat mengalami kembali pengalaman seperti dulu. Semua material menjadi nyata, baik hasrat akan penampilan (terbaik), kekuatan untuk menggunakan, atau perasaan bangkit. Kami dapat merasakan perbedaannya," pungkasnya.

Disturbed terbentuk pada 1994. Band yang kini beranggotakan Dan Donegan, Mike Wengren, David Draiman, dan John Moyer ini telah merilis lima album sepanjang kariernya. Album pertama mereka The Sickness rilis 2000 lalu.(Gul/Mer)
